SDR Surgery

What?

SDR (selective dorsal rhizitomy) is major spinal surgery used to treat spastic cerebral palsy. This intervention has been green lighted in the research and by the world’s leading cerebral palsy research for eligible candidates.

Our experience

We underwent SDR for Zach at the end of June at Portland Hospital in London. To see more about our experience watch our videos.

Thoughts

We are so glad that we were able to give Zach this opportunity, but we are still early days in our recovery.
